Congress of the Latin american Association of Economists and Environmental Resources

(LAERE 2025)

March 19-21 | Bogotá, Colombia

The Congress of the Association of Latin american and Caribbean Environmental Economists and Resources (LAERE2025) will be held from 19 to 21 march 2025. The conference will be held face-to-face in the vibrant city of Bogota, Colombia, and will include some events hybrids as part of the program.

The conference is organized by the Department of Economics of the University of the Andes , and co-organised by the magazine Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, JEEM.

The keynote speakers of the congress will be:

• Ben Groom (Chair Dragon Capital in Economics of Biodiversity, University of Exeter)
• Paulina Oliva (University of Southern California)
• Juan Pablo Rud (Royal Holloway, University of London)
