We are pleased to announce the start of the Series of Webinars EfD 2025, a space of academic exchange where we will explore key research in economics and environmental resources.

To kick off the year, we have the presentation of a study on Vietnam by Dr. Bui Bich Xuan, a leading researcher in economics in fisheries and marine conservation.

🎙️ About the Speaker

The Dr. Bui Bich Xuan is a teacher and researcher at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Nha Trang. He obtained his Ph.D. in Economics with an emphasis in Economics and Environmental Resources at UiT-The Arctic University of Norway in 2017. His work focuses on the economics and management of fisheries and aquaculture, conservation of marine biodiversity and sustainable production.

We are pleased to invite you to a webinar live will be held on September 26, titled ‘Updates on AI in education and minitaller of EfD: how to improve learning and save time for teachers’, presented by Erik Sterner.

Erik Sterner is dedicated to promoting the education, communication and research in these fields. In EfD, works as a researcher, developer, education, communicator and teacher and experimenter AI). At the beginning of his career (2011-2015), compared various climatic factors such as gases and particles, using climate models ‘simple’. However, after completing his thesis, his deep passion for education and communication led him to focus on these areas.

EfD Webinar: Environmental Protection in China

We are pleased to invite you to a webinar live on September 26, entitled ‘central Inspectorate of environmental protection, strategic behavior and short-term air pollution in China’, presented by Lunyu Xie (partner and SETI).

The professor Lunyu Xie is a specialist in economics and environmental resources, energy economics and applied econometrics, and addresses topics such as the migration of the industry and the quality of the air, the electricity market reform and climate change, the research on the energy consumption of households and the ecological development in less developed areas. His publications have appeared in Energy Economics, China Economic Review, and Environmental and Resource Economics.
