CONFERENCE OVERVIEW The Symposium has become an important annual forum for discussing the evolving concept of energy security in a rapidly changing geopolitical context. The 2026 edition will address key challenges shaping the global energy landscape, including the Middle East energy crisis, the emergence of new geopolitical and industrial actors, the impact of artificial intelligence and data centres on energy demand, and the transformation driven by the energy transition.
A central focus will be the link between climate change, energy policy and national security, with attention to mitigation and adaptation strategies and their implications for a decarbonized energy system. Through plenary sessions, keynote presentations and concurrent sessions, the event will offer an international platform for networking and knowledge exchange in the modern setting of the University of Turin, in the context of a historic city, once Italy’s first capital, known for elegant  baroque architecture, grand piazzas, renowned museums, rich cuisine and the Alps skyline  www.aieesymposium.eu https://www.aieesymposium.eu/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/line1.jpg SUBMISSION INFORMATION Concurrent sessions will be organized from accepted abstracts.
Authors wishing to make paper presentations during the Concurrent Sessions must submit an abstract that briefly describes the research topic to be presented.
Submitted abstracts should include (1) overview, (2) methods, (3) results and (4) conclusions, conforming to the structure outlined in the abstract template. Abstracts are limited to no more than two pages in length. https://www.aieesymposium.eu/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/line1.jpg ATTENDANCE AT THE CONFERENCE At least one author of an accepted paper must pay the registration fees and attend the conference to present the paper. While multiple submissions by individuals or groups of authors are welcome, the abstract selection process will seek to ensure as broad participation as possible: each speaker is to present only one paper in the conference.
No author should submit more than one abstract as its single author. If multiple submissions are accepted, then a different co-author will be required to pay the reduced registration fee and present each paper. Otherwise, authors will be contacted and asked to drop one or more paper(s) for presentation. MORE INFORMATION
