• The Research Institute for Development, Growth and Economics (RIDGE) is pleased to announce a call for papers for the Fourth Workshop on Environmental Economics to be held in Montevideo, Uruguay, on 5-6 December 2022.

• We accept contributions relevant for understanding the most important environmental policy challenges in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). These include studies of specific LAC countries, as well as comparative institutional analyses. Papers addressing issues from other regions deemed relevant to LAC are also welcome. Both theoretical and empirical contributions are welcome.

• The RIDGE December Forum aims to favor the spread of high quality research in economics by bringing together prestigious researchers working on the frontier of knowledge to local and regional researchers and policymakers.
